Tui na is a massage healing technique that dates back to the Shang Dynasty of China. Tui na helps specific points, muscle groups, and meridians. Tui na is an energy flow that the practioner gives to the patient for ultimate healing in order to stimulate health. A tui na practitioner uses hand techniques to massage the soft tissue of the body and manipulation techniques to readjust the musculoskeletal system. 


Gua-Sha

Gua-Sha is comprised of two Chinese words: Gua, meaning to rub or scrape, and Sha is a type of stagnant energy that causes excess heat to build within the body. The term Gua-Sha means, rubbing the skin to remove an energy blockage.  By bringing heat to the skin surface, Gua-Sha, releases heat and blocked energy. Gua-Sha is widely used to treat joint and muscle pain.
