What does it feel like?  Does it hurt?  Is it safe?

Acupuncture is safe and painless.  We use sterile needles which are disposed of after each use.  This greatly reduces the risk of infection or cross contamination. We gently tap the needles in with guide tubes which allows for quick and painless insertions.  You are then able to relax and many times fall asleep.

How long does a session take?

The initial treatment generally takes anywhere from one hour to an hour and a half.  The practitioner will ask  a number of questions regarding your medical history and chief complaint.  Follow-ups are quicker and can last 15 to 60 minutes depending on your complaints.

When will I see results?

You may feel better after the first treatment.  Generally, results will vary according to how acute or chronic your condition is.  The longer you have been experiencing a certain aliment, the more treatments that you may require.
